Mouthpiece update

Effective immediately, QRS will no longer ship the previously known "International" mouthpieces (QRZ-5000-2668). In the interest of better production speed to assist with the streamlining of Customer Delivery times BIRD Healthcare will instead only ship only mouthpieces with the part number (QRZ-5000-2608).

Issue Status: Non Critical

Issue: Customers using part numbers QRZ-5000-2608 with OfficeMedic Version 4.5 or earlier will not experience any difference in the use or purpose of the mouthpieces other than a limit to the number of "blows" able to be performed with one mouthpiece on a single patient.

Tracking: The latest release of Office Medic (v4.5.3) DOES NOT lock-out mouthpiece numbers, hence the "International" mouthpiece is no longer required.

Solution: Customers that have not upgraded to the latest version of Office Medic but require “International” mouthpieces will begin experiencing lock-outs when they start using the Z-5000-2608 mouthpieces. To remedy this problem, customers should either purchase an upgrade to receive the latest software updates or download the "Mouthpiece Lock-out Patch" below.
